Newstart Housing Corporation partnered with Promotoras and the office of Supervisor Hilda L. Solis to host the 1st Annual Promotoras Mental Health Conference for the Southeast area of Los Angeles County in the City of Huntington Park.
Through a joint collaboration with the City of South Gate, OHDC IV is proud to provide two new units of affordable housing. Two families have since moved in and are now recipients of the City of South Gate’s efforts to address the ever increasing need for affordable rents.
We continue our commitment of providing affordable housing units for low income families in the Southeast area of Los Angeles County. In addition, we continue to change perceptions and provide a forum for continued dialogue of the increasing need for low income housing.
Oldtimers Housing is proud to announce that construction will begin in July 2016 on our newest property in South Gate. This neglected property on San Gabriel Avenue will be transformed with a major rehabilitation. Once complete, two families will be able to benefit from another Oldtimers Housing development!
